·  DDATE CHANGE Israeli Dinner at Ariel:  Join Deputy Consul General Oren Rozenblat on Friday night, May 16th for Shabbos Dinner at Ariel in celebration of Israel’s 60th Anniversary! RSVP to the shul office by May 5th.  Cost before May 5th $18/adult, $8/child (4-12), under 4 free. After May 5th, $23/adult, $11/child, -4 free. RSVP 

 

· JFGA’s Women of Achievement: Join us as we honor Kim Urbach (Ariel) and Carla Hotz (Ariel Sisterhood) for their dedication to Congregation Ariel! · Atlanta Community Festival & Celebration @ the MJCCA: The Atlanta Jewish community will gather together at the MJCCA on Sunday, May 18th from 12 noon - 6 PM to celebrate the State of Israel’s 60th Anniversary!  Volunteers are needed to staff the Ariel table! Please contact Sandee Glassman at 770-220-2829 or pamasandee@yahoo.com  to volunteer for an hour (or more!) or call Cory in the office.

· Hachnasat Sefer Torah Dedication & Lag B’Omer Bonfire: Join us on  Thursday evening, May 23rd at 8:45pm following mincha at the home of Victor Sonsino as we bring the newest Sefer Torah to Ariel by torchlight procession. Dancing by torchlight with the Torah at Ariel, refreshments and a Lag B’Omer Bonfire with music will follow.  

  

· Enriching Relationships: The Jewish Marriage Initiative and Congregation Ariel are proud to present a three part seminar FOR WOMEN, BY WOMEN on Enriching Relationships. Our very own Rebbetzin Dena Friedman will welcome you to this exciting series. The presenter will be a member of the JMI staff of mental health professionals.This seminar is in the merit of the sick in Atlanta who need a complete and speedy recovery. More details soon.

 

· Pages of Testimony Project: Ariel is participating in Agudath Israel of America’s Pages of Testimony Project in conjunction with Yad Vashem. Look for information in the mail this week on how to submit names of loved ones lost in the Holocaust. We will create a book that will be displayed at Ariel commemorating these souls lost in the Holocaust. Print the form.

  

· Camp Shamayim: The premier Atlanta camp for girls run by Morah Dena  Friedman is registering for Summer 2008! Camp will run for 5 weeks from  June 23 – July 25th. For more info or to register, call 770-458-9430.

Dunwoody Mikvah Society
